Central heating flushing is a process used to clean the inside heating system by removing sludge, rust and debris that build up over time.
These deposits can block pipes and radiators, reduce efficiency and could cause cold spots or a noisy system.
During the flushing process, specialist equipment and chemicals are circulated throughout the heating system to break down and remove contamination.
Once the debris has been cleared, the system is refilled and treated with inhibitor to help prevent future build up.
Please note that a power flush can cause old valves and even radiators to leak, this will be advised on a visit.
A clean and properly flushed heating system can improve heat output, lowering energy costs and improving overall comfort in your home.
You have cold spots on your radiators
Some radiators are slower than others to heat up
You have a noisy boiler or pipes
Leaking radiators or pipes
A blocked system doesn't work as efficiently and can result in higher energy bills
Dirty water, sludge, rust and debris can damage your boiler over time
